Welcome! We’re excited that you’re interested in trying a class with us.
We encourage you to drop in for a free session to see if we’re the right fit for you. If you already know when you’d like to visit, feel free to click the button below and fill out an inquiry form so our coaches can be ready to welcome you. If you have a friend who’s already a member, feel free to tag along with them—everything’s more fun with a partner!

But what if I've never really worked out before, it's been a really long time, or I've never done higher intensity, CrossFit style classes...
No problem! We encourage everyone to try a class—no matter your fitness background. Every workout can be adjusted and scaled to meet each individual’s needs, regardless of age, fitness level, previous injuries, or other health considerations.
Our coaches take pride in providing knowledgeable guidance and personalized support so every athlete can train safely and confidently. Our community is widely diverse and includes athletes of all ages and abilities, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

There are a couple of ways you can get started from here:
If you’re already a member at our main gym, Family Fitness Works, simply stop by the front desk and add Functional Fitness Works to your membership. This will give you access to unlimited classes.

If you’re not currently a member, you’ll need a membership to both gyms to access unlimited classes at Functional Fitness Works. This also includes 24/7 access to the main gym and all group fitness classes offered there as well—talk about a win-win!
Just visit the front desk at Family Fitness Works to get signed up for both locations.
If unlimited classes or access to the main gym isn’t what you’re looking for, we also offer a
12-class punch card for $80 with no expiration date and can be used for any classes throughout the week. These can be purchased in person at the gym or via the button below.
Once I get signed up or purchase a punch card, what's next?
The next steps are tailored to each individual and where you are in your fitness journey. If you’ve consistently attended CrossFit-style classes or already feel confident with Olympic lifts and the movements we use regularly, you’re likely ready to jump right in and get moving.

If you’re newer to functional fitness—no worries at all, we’ve got you covered.
We’ll schedule some dedicated 1:1 time with a coach to complete Box 101.
What’s Box 101? It’s a series of up to five sessions (depending on your experience) designed to teach you the fundamentals of the movements you’ll see in class. Your coach will guide you through proper form, mechanics and safe movement patterns to help prevent injury and set you up for success.

And don’t stress about knowing everything from day one—perfection isn’t the goal. In every class, your coach will demonstrate movements, answer questions, and offer scaling options so you feel confident and supported every step of the way.

Become a member of the Family Fitness Works main gym and add-on Functional Fitness Works to your monthly membership. You can begin this process by speaking with a staff member at the main desk of Family Fitness Works.

$15/class - Whether you're in town visiting friends or family, here for business, or just passing through, we'd love to have you drop in!​

$30/week unlimited classes - If you plan on attending more than one class while in town, or if you're just looking to try the gym out for a week, this is a great option that lets you come to any regularly scheduled class.​​

College Students
$40/month*
All current college students are able to get a monthly pass of unlimited classes for a total of $40 per month without having to belong to the main gym.
*Please note you must show a valid current college ID for this discount, and you will not have access to the main gym.
