Where to begin:

I'm not a member but I'd like to try a class - What are my options?

First off - welcome! We are thrilled you have interest in trying out a class.  We encourage you to drop in to try a free class to see if it's the right fit for you! If you know a specific time you would like to come, contact us via email and give us a heads up so our coaches can be prepared. If you happen to have a friend who already attends, tag along with them as well, the more the merrier!

I've never worked out before (or it's been a really long time) or

I've never done high intensity, CrossFit style classes... 

We encourage everyone to try at least one class, no matter what your fitness background may be. Any class you attend has movements that can be scaled to each individual's need, regardless of age, fitness level, previous injuries or any other health concerns. We pride ourselves in being a gym with coaches who are knowledgeable enough to tend to each athlete's needs.  Our gym has a very diverse athlete population and we would love to have you join us!

I'm ready to get signed up, how do I do that and what happens next?

Awesome - Welcome to the FFW Family! We have a couple routes you can take from here:

If you are already a member at our main gym (Family Fitness Works), head to the front desk and simply add on Functional Fitness Works to your membership- this gives you access to unlimited classes.

If you are not a member, you will have to become a member of both gyms to access unlimited classes at FFW (this also gives you 24/7 access to the main gym as well as group fitness classes offered there, talks about a win-win!). Head over the front desk and they will get your signed up for everything!

If you aren't looking for unlimited classes or access to the main gym -we offer a punch card (12 total classes), you can purchase this directly from the FFW gym during your free class! These cards allow you to attend any class time and does not expire!

 

Now that I'm a member or purchased a punch card, what's next?
 

The next steps are tailored toward each individual and where you are in your fitness journey. If you have regularly attended CrossFit style classes and/or are proficient in Olympic Lifting as well as most of the movements we do regularly in class, you are likely okay to hop right in and get moving!

If you are newer to all this - that's totally fine, we've got you covered! 
We will schedule you for some 1:1 attention with a coach to complete Box 101. Whats Box 101 you ask? Depending on your fitness level, we will schedule you up to 5 classes to learn the basics of all the movements you will regularly see in class.  Your coach will work with you to ensure you have proper body mechanics and form to avoid injury and enhance your ability to perform your best in the class setting. Don't worry, we don't expect you to be perfect with all the movements or remember all the jargon, that's why every class, your coach will offer demonstrations, answer questions and give scaled options as necessary!

​BOX 101: Your 1:1 Introduction to Functional Movements

 $75 – everyone new to Olympic Lifting / CrossFit style classes must complete Box 101. This a one-time fee is due at sign up (*cost will be prorated if you do not need a full 5 classes). 

 

Family Fitness Works Member(s):

Unlimited Classes

 $45 / month – add-on to your existing account as an amenity for unlimited Functional Fitness Classes & 24/7 Box Access. (Mid-month additions are charged a Pro-Rated amount plus the next Full Month upon adding to account)

 

Non-member(s):

$79 Punch Card - this is good for 12 classes any day/time of the week and does not expire. This can be purchased directly from FFW gym at any point in time*. This also makes a great gift for anyone you know who wants to get started on their fitness journey!

*If you are wanting unlimited classes, you will have to become a member of both Family Fitness Works (main gym) as well Functional Fitness Works gym. Please see the front desk at the main gym to sign up for both gyms - you will purchase a membership then add on the FFW membership for $45. You will get unlimited 24/7 access as well as access to group fitness classes in the main gym as well as unlimited FFW classes (talk about a win-win)!

Drop In Pricing:

$15/class - whether you're in town visiting friends or family, here for business, or just passing through, we'd love to have you drop in! Please send us an email with the day/time of class you'd like to attend.

$30/week - If you plan on attending more than one classes while in town, or if you're just looking to try the gym out for a week, this is a great option that lets you come to any regularly scheduled class, If you know the days/times you would like to attend, please send us an email so we can let the coach know to expect you!

College Students:

$40/month - All current college students are able to get a monthly pass of unlimited classes for a total of $40 per month without having to belong to the main gym. *Please note you must show a valid current college ID for this discount and you will not have access to the main gym.
